This RAT is able to hide within the operating system, which initially makes it difficult to detect. However, nowadays, most antivirus systems have the Back Orifice executable files and occlusion behavior logged in their databases as signatures to look out for. A nice feature of this software is that it has an easy-to-use console that the intruder can use to navigate around the infected system.
